The UAE Exchange station on Dubai Metro's Red Line will now be known as Life Pharmacy metro station, following a 10-year naming rights agreement.
The deal was signed by Life Pharmacy Group and Hypermedia, with Mada Media representing the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as its official concessionaire.
Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Kalbat, CEO of the RTA's Rail Agency, hailed the partnership as a key step in the ongoing success of the Dubai Metro Naming Rights initiative, launched in 2009.
He emphasised the value of public-private partnerships in supporting economic growth and creating new opportunities.
The RTA will begin updating signage and systems with the new station name from May through August 2025.
Mada Media's CEO Mohamad Al Hammadi said the agreement reflects their aim to transform metro stations into high-impact branding platforms, while Life Pharmacy Group's Chairman & Managing Director Abdul Rahuman Abdul Nazzar described the partnership as a symbol of the company’s commitment to the city and its communities.
