In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered the release of 505 prisoners, ahead of Eid Al Adha.
Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Dubai’s Attorney General, said the order reflects Sheikh Mohammed's keenness to give inmates an opportunity to start a new life and reintegrate into society as well as bring happiness to their families.
He said Dubai Public Prosecution will immediately commence the legal procedures to implement the order.
