Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has reviewed development plans in the Gaza Strip during talks with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Badr Abdelatty in Abu Dhabi.
The two sides underscored the importance of supporting the objectives of the 'Board of Peace' and the Palestinian National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.
They highlighted the need to implement US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan "across all its stages", and looked at "intensifying regional and international efforts to ensure the unimpeded and sufficient delivery of humanitarian and relief assistance to the Strip".
The UAE and Egyptian diplomats also looked into opportunities to strengthen collaboration in areas that benefit both countries.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the depth of the fraternal ties with Egypt and the shared keenness to advance and develop prospects for joint cooperation in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations.
