Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has discussed ways to strength bilateral ties across key sectors with Germany during talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul in Berlin.
Sheikh Abdullah, who is in Germany on a working visit, affirmed that strategic relations between the two nations embody a model of constructive cooperation founded on a shared vision to support stability and foster prosperity.
The two sides reviewed UAE-Germany strategic relations and explored avenues of bilateral cooperation and opportunities to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in multiple fields, including the economic, investment, trade and industrial sectors, in addition to renewable energy, food security, science and advanced technology.
Sheikh Abdullah and Wadephul also discussed developments the region following Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other Arab countries.
They reviewed the importance of intensifying international efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability and adopting diplomatic solutions that spare the region further tension and escalation.
The UAE's Attorney-General, Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, has ordered the referral of 13 defendants and six UAE-registered companies to the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeal (State Security Court) on charges of illicit trafficking in military materiel, forgery and money laundering.
