Dubai crowned world's most popular destination

Dubai has been rated as the most popular destination in the world in Tripadvisor's 2022 Travellers' Choice Awards.

The emirate has been described as a place that mixes modern culture with history and adventure with world-class shopping and entertainment. 

London is ranked second overall, while Cancun, Bali and Crete round out the top-five spots.  

The winners were selected based on travellers' reviews and ratings from November 2020 to October 2021.
