A baby has been born on an Emirates flight travelling to Dubai from Tokyo.
An Emirates spokesperson told ARN News that the passenger was assisted by the crew and the flight continued to Dubai as per schedule.
The incident took place on January 19, and the passenger and baby were in stable condition and met by local medical staff on arrival.
The EK319 flight took off from Tokyo Narita at 10:31 pm, Japan time, and landed at in Dubai at 5.44 am, UAE time.
"The passenger and baby were in stable condition and upon arrival in Dubai were met by local medical staff. The health and safety of our crew and passengers is of paramount importance," the Emirates spokesman said.
