Multiple Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, have announced their successful interception of several drones targeting their territories and airbases.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defence shared that three drones were intercepted and destroyed east of the Riyadh region on Friday.
Qatar's defence forces also successfully intercepted a drone attack targeting its Al-Udeid air base.
Meanwhile, Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence announced late on Thursday that national air defences intercepted a missile attack breaching the country's airspace.
The Ministry confirmed that the interception prompted the activation of sirens in accordance with established security procedures, with no casualties or damages reported.
